DENVER – It’s not often you find a manufacturing company that is well over 100 years old, and even harder to discover one located in Colorado. But that’s exactly what you’ll find with the Bremner Biscuit Company, founded in Cairo, Ill. Way back in 1865, taking up residence in Chicago in 1871 and moved to Denver in 1984. The company makes its Original Wafer, Sesame Wafers, Cracked Wheat Wafers and Crackers Made with Pure Sunflower Oil. The line is available nationwide at a variety of retailers, and earlier this year launched its newest product, the Caraway Cracker, featuring the aromatic caraway seed that originates from an herb in the parsley family.
