Denver-based Meier Skis took home the trophy for Consumer & Lifestyle Manufacturer of the Year at the 2020 Colorado Manufacturing Awards. Owner Ted Eynon discusses the world's first "craft skiery" on South Broadway and how Colorado wood and manufacturing brings value and performance to the company's customers. "We are designing and producing everything right here, versus simply sending a graphic file to a manufacturer offshore," says Eynon. "It's a lot more work, [and] it requires a far more creative business model."
