US Manufacturing Continues To Grow; PMI At 2-Year High

ISM released its report on US Manufacturing in which Purchasing Manager’s Index (PMI) for the US manufacturing industry stands at 57.1. This is up by 1.8 points from last month’s PMI of 55.3 and is in line with the 14-month trend. 17 of the 18 manufacturing industries were a part of this growth. July’s number was highest since April 2011 when it was 58.9.
