This Entrepreneur Is Literally Growing The Future Of Manufacturing

At two factories located in upstate New York, products aren’t being made – they’re being grown. That’s all part of the vision of Eben Bayer, Gavin McIntyre, and the company they cofounded, Ecovative.

Bayer, who was highlighted in the 2015 Forbes 30 Under 30 List in Manufacturing, grew up on a farm in Vermont. In college at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, he majored in mechanical engineering. His day to day business combines both his farming and engineering skills to define the future of his industry.
