Colorado’s manufacturing momentum shifts north

Colorado’s manufacturing center of gravity continues to move north, toward metro Denver, Fort Collins and Greeley, and away from Colorado Springs and Pueblo, according to an updated index from NewGeography.com.

Manufacturers have shed 5 million jobs over the past 25 years, creating an angst mentioned often on the presidential campaign trail. But the northern Front Range is one place where a manufacturing revival seems underway.
